Sarracenia ‘Kilimanjaro’ x “Blood Moon” pitcher plant

Description:  This is the same cross as 'Dragon Queen' except that 'Kilimanjaro' hosted the seeds instead of "Blood Moon'.  As a result these seedlings will have traits that lean more heavily towards 'Kilimanjaro'.

Many of these seedlings are already exhibiting similarities with 'Dragon Queen"; fast growth and a maroon with white and orange accents.  With wide, short hood columns they are taking shapes that are reminiscent of 'Kilimanjaro'.  Each one is different and exciting!

Pitcher Plant Care: Plant in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss and perlite in a very large planter and keep it wet. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.

All plants will ship bare root, without pots and soil.
