Sarracenia "Green Monster" pitcher plant

Description:  S. leucophylla x minor is also known as S. excellens.  Sarracenia "Green Monster" is an albino excellens, which means it never produces red pigmentation.  It makes its best leaves in the fall.

If you have pitcher plants in your yard for their ornamental value, then this is a great choice!  Grow it next to a pink and red plant for a vibrant pop of color contrast.

Care: Plant in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss and perlite in a very large planter and keep it wet. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.

All plants will ship bare root, without pots and soil.
